characters- Will Graham & Hannibal Lecture
from- Bryan Fuller’s “Hannibal” tv series
This is probably my first pass at this image. Something is sitting with me just right with it.
About the image itself-
I wanted to use German-expressionism to convey the chaos that reigns in Will’s mind and exploit the darkness within Hannibal. Hopefully I am conveying their duality in their relationship— The control Hannibal has over Will and how Will often follows Hannibal blindly even though you can tell he instinctively Will “knows” what Hannibal is but is fooling himself for sake of having someone who can really see him for who he really is. [I don’t think I’m reading too much into that. Will’s expression during the course of the series shows it all.]
There is other symbolism going on here, but if you haven’t seen or are behind, I don’t want to spoil it for you.
Anyways, bon appetit!
